
Biography
Recently: In 2009 Aljoscha joined “The Young Americans®”, an international performing arts group founded 1962 in West Hollywood. As part of the resident cast in Southern California he got to work for shows like “The Magic of Christmas” at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts or the “Tarbell Awards”, including a staging of “My Fair Lady” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. He also works with “at risk” kids in cooperation with the Orange County Department of Education as Performing Arts Educator in projects like the US-Army boot camp “Sunburst Youth Academy” or the substance abuse rehabilitation “Youth Guidance Center (YGC)” of the probation department. Aljoscha is also touring the world with the International Music Outreach program of “The Young Americans®”.
The early years: Growing up musically within his family, Aljoscha started to play musical instruments and began to sing, act, and model. He participated in school productions, bands, and choirs and decided to become a professional artist. His ambitions led him to theaters and stages like the “Dolce-Theater Bad Nauheim” (“Hercules”, “Peter and Anneli’s Journey to the Moon”), the “Brothers Grimm Fairy Festival Hanau” (“The Fisherman and His Wife”) or the “Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden” (“RENT”, “Anything Goes”) and to engagements at independent theater companies (“King Horst”, “sex lies & fairytales”). In 2002 and 2007 he originated parts in two musical theater productions. Aljoscha also appeared as supporting actor in several productions on German television (ARD, PRO7) and shot a variety of short movies.
